Services and prices
Demo content — Northline Family Dental is a fictional practice. This page exists to demonstrate the KeoCodes Site Engine. Every service, price and policy below is invented, and none of it is medical advice. Most practice websites will not tell you what anything costs until you are sitting in the chair. We think that is backwards, so here is the list.
Prices are for the work itself. They do not change based on who you are or what your plan is. What you personally end up paying depends on the tooth, on how much work it actually needs once we can see it properly, and on your insurance — so before any treatment is booked you get a printed estimate with a price beside every line.
If you have a question about your own situation, ask your dentist. This page describes what the procedures are and what they cost, not what anyone should have done.
The full list
Check-ups and cleanings
The first visit: a full exam, the x-rays we need to see between and under teeth, a cleaning where the gums are healthy, and a written plan before anything else goes on the schedule. About 60 minutes.
Check-up and cleaning — $115
The routine six-month visit. About 45 minutes.
Deeper cleaning, per side of the mouth — $215
For gums that need more than a routine clean. Usually spread over two visits.
X-rays on their own — $35 to $120
Depends on how many and what kind. We tell you which ones we want and why before we take them.
Fillings and repairs
Depends on which tooth and how much of it needs replacing. Almost always one visit.
Repairing a chipped edge — $180 and up
Often done in the same appointment you noticed it.
Replacing an old filling — $230 and up
Priced the same way as a new one.
Root canal treatment — $850 to $1,400
Front teeth cost less than molars. Some cases are better handled by a specialist, and we will say so up front rather than start and stop.
Crowns, bridges and dentures
Two visits, about two weeks apart, with a temporary in between.
Bridge, three units — $3,200
Replaces a missing tooth using the two either side of the gap.
Full denture, per arch — $1,750
Several fitting appointments. We quote the whole course, not one visit at a time.
Denture repair — $180 and up
Bring it in. Same-day where we can.
Children's visits
A short, unhurried look, a count of the teeth, and a chance for a child to sit in the chair without anything happening. A parent stays in the room.
Check-up and cleaning — $85
The routine children's visit.
Sealant, per tooth — $55
A coating on the biting surface of a back tooth.
We are happy to book a child's appointment back to back with a parent's so it is one trip.
Urgent and same-day visits
Includes the x-ray we need to see what is going on. If you go ahead with treatment the same day, the cost of the exam comes off it.
Simple extraction — $250 and up
Quoted before we start, as always.
We hold a few slots every weekday morning for this. Call the front desk rather than using the form if you need one today.
Whitening and cosmetic work
Custom trays and gel, with a fitting appointment. Results differ from person to person and we will tell you honestly what to expect from your own teeth before you buy it.
Composite bonding, per tooth — $290 and up
Small repairs and reshaping using the same material as a filling.
Cosmetic work is elective. Nobody here will push it, and it never gets added to a treatment plan you did not ask for.
About these prices
Example prices for a fictional demo practice — not a quote, and not a guarantee of what anything would cost anywhere real. We are in-network with several PPO plans and file claims for patients as a courtesy, but what a plan pays depends on your policy and your remaining annual maximum, so we will not tell you a number before your insurer confirms one. Anything about your own teeth is a conversation for your own dentist.
